Our BRAND NEW 85m x 55, Roberts Arena is the latest development to extend our facilities, making Lyford Stud the go-to venue for riders across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and beyond. Alongside, we have a 20 X 60 all-weather floodlit flatwork arena plus cross-country fields and easy access to bridleways and open countryside. With expert tuition available on site, and facilities to hire (including to freelance instructors), Lyford Stud is available 7 days a week throughout the year.

Top-class facilities available to hire by the half hour up to full days. Full set of show jumps. XC obstacles from 40cm. Summer season show jumping & dressage on grass.

Livery: Part & full livery in indoor stables with grass turnout
From turnout/bring in, rug changing and feeding to medicine administration and exercise regimes to suit you, your horse and your budget.

Tuition: expert-led by Carol Starkey
Carol is an enthusiastic and sympathetic trainer dedicated to improving both horse and rider. She is Pony Club accredited and is respected for her years of experience.
Our facilities and qualified instructors are available 7 days a week for one-to-one and group tuition. Our experienced staff and horses can cater for riders ranging from beginners to advanced, and for those who want to specialise in show jumping or dressage.
